Yankee Baby

I know it has been awhile! This invite, although I debated on whether or not to do because I am a die hard Philly fan… ha j/k was for an upcoming baby shower. Since they do not know the sex of the baby–they wanted to keep the invite gender neutral. So, I opted to pick up the actual Yankee colors of both male & female apparel.

I used baseball lingo to carry out the theme as well as tried to come up with a cute header. Hard to rhyme/be cute with the word Yankee but I think this did the trick!

The blank spots are for personal information. Of course this could be applied to any sports team 🙂

Invitation to: A Simple Shower

As much as I am into details, I love simplicity. (In fact, my sis refers to me as “Plain Jane” haha) So when I was asked to create this bridal shower invitation in particular I was thrilled.

There was a certain simple elegance that this bridesmaid (who asked me to do this) was looking for and I wanted to achieve it. She had given me a few samples of things she saw online and a little about the wedding itself.

The wedding theme was black and white. So yea– a bit limiting.

However, to make it more personal, I asked about the flowers, what the brides’ gown looked like and applied them to the invitation. This was the result.
