Wedding Weekend!

First off, congrats to the newlyweds Jess & Matt! I heard the wedding was nothing short of spectacular.

This event particular I have been doing work here and there and it is great to finally hear about the end result–the wedding! Since most people were traveling from out-of-town, the bride and groom set up multiple events for their guests to partake in.

Just in case people forgot their invitations, the couple wanted to have another guide or point of reference for the weekend activities. We kept with the bride and groom’s original theme and actually used the artwork (designed by one of her bridesmaids) that was on their invitations and other printed materials. The bride really kept everything very consistent which is always key!

This brochure had all of the dates, times, directions and even a little message from the couple. What a great way to welcome your guests 🙂

The outside of the brochure

The right panel would serve as the cover of the brochure. The left side would be the first page that you open up to. The middle section would be the back of the entire brochure.

The inside

For the inside, this is exactly how it would look once the paper was unfolded. All of the dates, times and locations for each event are listed. The right panel– of course, directions!

More Wedding Info

This particular bride and groom are doing everything possible to make this weekend for their guests one to remember. In addition to their wedding festivites, they have added a few more activites for their out of town guests. They too are having so many guests that all of their accomodations were full! With their wedding less than a month away and their save the dates and invites already received…

that’s where I came in!

The bride came to me and asked if we could put together an information card for her guests that listed both an additional accommodation option, as well as other activities in which she needed RSVP’s for. In knowing that this will be me in about 9 months (yikes!) I was more than happy to help her out. You may remember the wine themed shower invite/thank you cards from previous posts–this is the same bride!

The front features a picture of Lake George and all of the accommodation information. Check it out.

The back was the “more fun” portion where she and her soon-to-be hubby have arranged for some added events. The main reason behind this card again was that they needed RSVP (head count) for the Golf & the Brunch.  Her wedding (as you can see) is taking place in Lake George so the natural tones and hues were a requirement of hers. We too brought out some of her wedding colors and carried out fonts that were used in all of her more formal invitations.

Surf’s Up!

In case you didn’t see my post on facebook, I had said that a Baby Shower invite was coming….here it is!

This invitation is for my future brother/sister-in-law welcoming their new baby boy! The baby is due in November so their parents decided to put a twist on the traditional all female guests and have a Co-Ed shower! Both the theme and decor will be gender neutral as will the events–no gift opening!  The theme for the invite is actually taken from the baby’s bedding which is referred to as “Surf’s Up.” I took a look at the pattern and drew up these illustrations which match pretty close. The color palette too reflects the baby’s bedding pattern.

I of course removed all personal information from the invite–but you get the idea where all of the important info goes. What do you think?
