To thank everyone for coming, I made these for Julie and had them printed for her.

Just another small detail as well as somewhere else to use the illustration and end the themed event.

We also had everyone fill out their own envelopes with their addresses at the shower.

An actual print

Bridal Shower Decor: Travelin’ Jooj

So like I said I have this obsession with personalization so for this Bridal Shower & here is what the centerpieces looked like:

Purple and gold were the wedding colors–so these suitcases were painted purple with a gold initial on each, balloons on top.

Decor included white linens, mini airport styled bottles of alcohol and soft drinks, as well as various pictures of the couple’s travels over the years.

Finally the favors were mini white suitcases with Travelin’ Jooj labels including the date of the shower and purple ribbon (to be used as an ornament) and filled with gold candies.

Invitation to: Travelin’ Jooj’s Bridal Shower

I was lucky enough to be asked by my future sister-in-law to be a bridesmaid. Knowing her for a little under a decade- her attention to detail, planning and organization skills are where we tend to be the most similar. However because it was for her, she had no control which I know was driving her NUTS!

Her and my brother practically live out of their suitcases. They have traveled a lot together as well as apart over the years which is where the theme for her bridal shower, “Travelin’ Jooj” was born. Her nickname is a whole other story, but you get the idea.

I started with a very spiffy, well styled sketch of her rolling a suitcase–got the okay from the other bridesmaids as well as the groom to be. I too styled the invite to look like a airline ticket as well as added in the details of the shower, registry and so on.

The back was more geared to their honeymoon to Thailand–asking everyone to bring some sort of travel item which we later filled in their brand new luggage set (gift from the bridesmaids)

A close up of the sketch

We tied these on the suitcases as luggage tags because she had never seen them!
