Invitation to: Rehearsal Dinner

October 22, 2010 - 2 Responses

Yet another type of invitation, to the Rehearsal Dinner.
With each couple, wedding or any sort of event it is always fun to incorporate a little personality, or let a little bit of yourself come through. This wasn’t your average Rehearsal Dinner–it was at a bowling alley.

So, my first thought was Bridal Bowling pins…duh? Apparently this was a hit. I too incorporated as much of what I knew about the wedding and the two of them (colors, flowers, hair color etc).

Here is another concept (right) that didn’t make the cut…again I tried to combine the concepts of bowling and a wedding. Other versions were simply font treatments with more an alley feel, lit letters, bowling balls, you get it.

Wedding Agenda: Baltimore

October 22, 2010 - Leave a Response

This wedding was in Baltimore, MD and majority of guests were from out of town. So what we did was comprise a brochure full of information such as a little back story, a personal thank you from the bride and groom, when and where everything was, and most important directions. Even with all of the information in there, I made sure to add a little character to it as well as further carry out their font and color choices.

Guests received this along with some goodies in their welcome bag to kick off the wedding weekend. Remember I said we are into details…?

Thank you card: All about the shoes

Picked up the color of the shoe and carried it through the font & border

So October 2010 was a big wedding month for people that I know. A family friend was a maid of honor in a wedding and wanted to give the bride a unique gift. She was so excited to hear that I had done the drawings and had a very unique request for a thank you card.

She sent me a link for quite possibly one of the most intricate shoes I have ever seen! This bride is all about style and heels are her thing. So the M.O.H thought it would be neat to incorporate the shoes that the bride would be wearing that say to her shower into something…

A unique, yet stylish thank you card! Talk about details…
